Vāyu | Ep 14 | Spirituality | God | Consciousness
The Story
There's a field that hums, charged and trembling in place — but a hum that never moves stays sealed off, forever. This episode sits with the next question: how does a trembling field become a universe where one thing can actually reach another?
Physics answers with propagation — light itself is nothing but a disturbance crossing a field, and the newborn universe's first instant was space rushing outward before anything inside it existed to move. The Rig Veda answers with Vāyu — wind not as weather, but as movement itself, said to give birth to the movement of time. Hebrew scripture answers with ruach moving over the waters; Chinese thought with qi, defined by flow rather than substance. Every tradition reaching for the same second instrument: after the charged stillness, permission for it to move.
A soft, guided reflection on motion, breath, and the first crossing — part of the Anākalita series, a companion to the "A Trilogy of Contemplation" books.
🎧 A few quiet minutes. Feel the older wind still moving beneath this breath.
